Wanted a new bathroom, or should I say the wife wanted a new bathroom but oh the cost.
Thought about it and then remembered those tips from those people who advise you how to renovate kitchens. Don’t but new units etc but re-skin the cabinet doors and the like. So I tried it.
New mirrored door on the bathroom cabinet. New bath panel on the side of the bath. This bath panel also includes some healthy storage and a radio / cd player.
What a difference. Looks like a new bathroom at 10% of the price and 10% of the time. No meaningful disruption but a happy wife in town.
Now the wife is pushing me to get a new curtain design for the bedroom. This will no doubt lead to a “I need a new curtain rail with that” comment. It never ends.
What is that you are being harsh … well listen up as I have already had this comment three months ago when she was discussing the bedroom. The exact sentence was I need a new set of double bedding with that” and came just after we had purchased two new double mattresses for the bedrooms in the house. So don’t tell me as I am an expert on her shopping habits.
